Today we are going to dive headfirst into the ocean of salt that appears whenever there is a balance dataslate. We will be viewing comments from the wider internet (it’s just reddit), investigating the thoughts of Warhammer’s best commentators, strategists, and theorists.

This particular Balance Dataslate saw big changes to Sisters, GSC, changes to AP reduction stratagems, and a 3″ deepstrike nerf. Let’s jump right in.

Although this is the most that Games Workshop has ever done for balance with consideration to actual changes and transparency, 10th edition is dead. All my homies are waiting for 11th now.

How do GSC feel about the changes?

I think having points to bring units back is a bit skewed. Before, you had to roll to have units come back, and if that happened towards the end of the game you were screwed. Being able to bring back the first 1-4 units that die keeps your army topped up and has the most impact. I don’t think this hit is as hard as a lot of the nerds are anticipating.
