We must, prepare for the future.

In my life, I achieve this by playing my Genestealer cult army against Andi’s Thousand Sons.

I’m going to be playing Genestealer Cult at the next few tournaments until I revert back to playing CSM in like 2 days Idk, just feels like the right thing to do.

Anyway, my list is a bunch of Acolyte Hybrids which is cool because I get to move lots of models around. That’s pretty much the gist of it.

Andi’s turn 1 can be seen above, he went first which was nice on supply drop because it meant it was easy to deny primary and try to score 15 on turn 5 and even if I didn’t I would probably outscore him on secondaries due to 1k sons not having deep strike.

I under committed to removing the 5 sand boys on the middle objective in my turn 1 before I’m stupid. Deploying my army is hard and I didn’t have any Nurofen on hand. I really don’t think my list is fabulous, I should probably be playing that other stupid detachment where you charge but I can’t find any biosanctic broodsurge boxes and doing what everyone else is doing would mean I am cool and fit in, and I hate fitting in because if I’m not different no one will notice me and I’m incredibly narcissistic so I want attention.

My secondary game was GAS and Andi fumbled by teleporting his big rubric brick to Africa. As soon as Andi figures out how to play this game I’m cooked, so if my own gameplay is any indication I have about a year left until I start losing 70% of the Warhammer games I play. Better invest into some meta bullshit now so I can pretend I can still run 10kms in under an hour.
