NB. This was delayed because I got really busy watching trackmania videos on youtube.
So, the sisters are gone. Sold. Bye bye. Now onto newer and betterer things.
Does that mean I accidentally bought my friends Grey Knights army? Maybe.
I did finish painting:
- Cawl (although he is nowhere near finished), a tech-priest Dominus (same boat as Cawl)
- Daemonhost & Jokaero Weaponsmith (good enough)
- 5 Ruststalkers (need more work)
- 10 Fulgurite Electro-priests (I’ve been back once, and I’ll be back again to paint them more)
Just in time for the Geelong Town Open on the 6-7th of July. I haven’t really finished any full units since the end of GTO. I painted a Tech-priest Enginseer that still needs a base, and did some work on a unit of Serberys Raiders that are a while away from completion. I’ve also started touching up the paint job on one of the Skorpius Duneriders.
Luckily for me the Grey Knight army I’m buying is mostly battle-ready AND forms a meta-competitive list for 10th edition. Which means I can go to tournaments and be a loser that doesn’t have fun without feeling bad about not playing the statistically best list (just don’t look at the data too closely or you’ll realize it’s worthless).
Grey Knights should keep me entertained for a while as I’ve never played them before, which should give me plenty of time to build and paint my Ad Mech (to a standard I am happy with) in time for a big 3day GT in November.
Hopefully I get them completed by then as university just went back and I’ll be quite busy, but if I keep chipping away, I should get them done.
I’ll be back next month with my progress on the rest of my AdMech army, until then happy hobbying.
