Let us have a quick look back at the goals from May to see how I went.

Hobby goals June:

  • Finish painting Vindicator – Finished this early
  • Finish jumpercessors & jumptain – Haven’t started
  • Start painting redemptor (I’m still not sure I like this model) – Haven’t started
  • Build Danta & Sang Guard – Nope
  • Try not to buy any new models until I complete all of the above – Complete failure

I achieved none of the goals I set out to complete at the end of May. I was super keen on Blood Angels for about 10 seconds, but then I signed up for the Geelong town open after Terracon and the dataslate dropped a fat one for Ad Mech. So here I am, painting up Ad Mech for a tournament in just under two weeks.

Here’s what I’ve done so far:

  • Finished painting 10 Corpuscarii Electro-priests
  • Finished a tech-priest Manipulus (needs basing)
  • Finished TWO Duneriders
  • Painted an Inquisitorial Henchmen unit and Inquisitor Eisenhorn
  • Built a Nightlords Kill Team for our local Kill Team league (needs paint, no photos yet F)
  • Built and painted Canis Rex

To GO for Geelong town open:

  • Base canis & Tech priest
  • Paint: Belisarius Cawl, Tech-priest Dominus, Daemonhost, Jokaero Weaponsmith, 5 Ruststalkers, 10 Fulgurite Electro-priests

So, 19 models in the next 4ish days? Piece of cake! School holidays start next week so If I paint all day, I should be able to get it done with time to spare.

What is next after GTO? Could be anything. New sisters? Mayhaps. Back to Blood Angels? No. More Ad Mech? Possibly. I’m not setting myself goals this time though.

I’ll be back with another post of the entire army when I’ve finished painting, until then happy hobbying.
